Country Apple Fritter Bread Old-Fashioned Recipe

1/2 Cup Butter softened
2/3 Cup White Sugar
2 Large Eggs room temperature
1 1/2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 3/4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Milk whole milk, oat milk, coconut milk
1/2 Cup Sour Cream or Greek yogurt
1/3 Cup Light Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
2 Large Granny Smith Apples peeled, cored, and chopped
1 Cup Powdered Sugar
2 Tablespoons Milk

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan with non-stick spray or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar using an electric mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.
